Hyundai FC launches at Stamford Bridge

A new grassroots initiative for youth football

We’ve teamed up with Chelsea FC to launch a new grassroots football initiative, Hyundai FC, in partnership with 11 dealerships and their local teams across the UK.

11 girls’ and boys’ teams, from Under-8s to Under-16s, are participating in the project that will give them access to exclusive benefits throughout their season.

To kick things off, we invited the teams, their coaches and families to an exclusive launch event at Stamford Bridge last week, where guests were treated to a tailored behind-the-scenes stadium tour before the kids headed onto the pitch for some skills sessions.

Each team received brand new playing and training kit, and will receive top-level coaching sessions from Chelsea UEFA-qualified Foundation coaches, and perks to inspire the next generation of aspiring footballers over the next 12 months.

On their visit to West London, the teams were also treated to a meet and greet with Chelsea legend and FA Cup winner, Gus Poyet, and the Blues’ beloved mascots, Stamford and Bridget.

“What a day! It’s amazing to see so many smiling faces on the famous Stamford Bridge pitch. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of the day.”

Next up for the teams is a visit from the Chelsea FC Foundation coaches, as they get to grips with their own bespoke training plans, before their own club coaches head to Chelsea’s world-class facilities at Cobham Training Ground for a hands-on masterclass.
